About the villa

This luxury villa sits in its own multi-level gardens and is situated in the Gavarres mountains, a short distance from the beautiful "Blue Flag" beaches of Catalonia. It occupies an elevated location amidst pine and cork oak studded hills, this picturesque setting has been granted conservation status and is considered to be one of the finest areas for country walks in the region. It is ideal for mountain biking, quad biking, trekking, horse riding, or simply for a relaxing tranquil holiday.

Only a few villas have been discreetly spread out over the verdant hillsides and Villa Bonita arguably enjoys some of the best views of this rural idyll from its tranquil corner. The large well-tended garden creates a magical ambiance, allowing guests to relax in uninterrupted seclusion.

The exterior of the property benefits from a south facing, sunny aspect, with shady retreats. The interior has been tastefully decorated and feels like a 'home from home'. The heated, private pool is suitable for young children and can be viewed from the terraces and balconies.

The little hamlet of Romanya de la Selva is only 2 km away and boasts one of the best restaurants in the region, (Can Roquet), which has a large client base. Also a short walk down the valley will bring you to the Val Repos clubhouse and restaurant, which is set in a large garden and has an olympic size outdoor pool.

Only a 5 minute drive away is the medieval town of Calonge, where restaurants and shops can be found.

The nearest beach is San Antoni de Calonge, which has a 5km long beautiful beach that stretches all the way to Palamos, which in the evenings comes alive with families enjoying the promonade, shops, tapas bars and many varied restaurants.

There are 9 excellent golf courses within 30 minutes of the villa, (including the world renowned championship course PGA Catalunya) and the villa is also conveniently situated for daily excursions to Gerona, Barcelona and the South of France.
